Reasons Why HT Tool Joints Can Fail

Improper makeup torgue. Thread compound which is considered to be a safety factor,if not properly put into consideration can result to HT Tool Joint Failure because if thread compound is 1.0 then adjusted makeup torgue will be actual makeup torque multiplied by safety factor.

Poor handling can also result to HT Toll joint's failure.
