Is Anyone Here Trying to Get into Software Engineering?

I'm an ML engineer with 2.5 years of experience, having a hard time applying for other data science and ML engineering jobs. I do a ton of software engineering in my current job so I thought it might be a good fit for me as a career later on.

Is anyone else considering software engineering, or has made the switch? If so, how hard was the switch? My job title is officially "data scientist", so I imagine this might making changing careers more difficult.

ML = Machine Learning ?

"I do a ton of software engineering in my current job"

Simply include languages and development systems in your v when applying for jobs.

Instead of saying " I do " correct grammar would of been, " I have done ". My correction on this grammar correction may be incorrect,,,

OK, what speciific types of ''ML'' projects have you already worked on?

What is your academic background, in general, and in computer programming, in particular?

There must be a <...ton...> of recruitment agencies that are eager to hear all about it. The wonderful thing about the internet is that one doesn’t have to try very hard to find them.
