radar

How the radar technology can be implemented in our home or how can we realize it

by making it by our own?(i need the idea only)

A form of radar is used in homes by security movement detectors!

They use 10.7 GHz transmitters and the signal recieved from targets is recieved and mixed with the sent signal. This gives zero output if the targets are stationary, but as soon as a target moves the doppler effect generates an audio signal output to trigger an alarm.

Mullard used to make these microwave modules and I still have a couple from experiments I did in the 70s.

Remember with all radiation that it causes irreversible damage at cellular levels.

  • So we have electric and magnetic fields from mains wiring.
  • Leakage and induction from nearby power lines.
  • Leakage from microwave ovens (all leak a bit)
  • Cellphones
  • Faxes
  • Printers
  • Photocopiers
  • Radio and TV Transmitters
  • Radar Installations
  • Leakage from TV and Computers
  • Welders
  • Workshop equipment
  • Household appliances
  • Xray machines
  • ATM outlets
  • And so on.

All of these do the worst damage when we are asleep, the effects from AC equipment are more severe than from DC equipment.

Cell division normally takes place during the sleeping time, and that's when the DNA can be damaged irretrievably....

It is better to use PIR = Passive Infra-Red technology, around the home, because that does not interfere with genetic code of the body....

I would suggest that that is nonsense and its what the media shout about when they have no other newsworthy story to worry people!

These microwave doppler modules at the free band at 10.7 GHz are allowed no more than a couple of milliwatts emission. Are you honestly saying that 1 - 2 mWatts at distances of several feet is going to cause -

"...irreversible damage at cellular levels.."?

Because if you are you must be really concerned about using a mobile phone with 1 watt of power one inch from your head!!

Hello Electroman/John.

Unfortunately all the Electromagnetic radiation we absorb does have a cumulative effect.

And I don't see "the Media shouting about it", very much at all, really.

If you look at what happens just before/during/just after cell division, and understand, you should then know the importance of minimising bodily exposure to electromagnetic fields.

The research has been done, if you are genuinely interested, you could find the proof for yourself.

"We are fearfully and wonderfully made."

As far as cellphone usage goes, I use one only in emergency, and that would be around 5 times per year.

The reason is simple: I intend to minimise exposure to Electromagnetic Radiation, wherever possible, because I do understand the bad and cumulative long-term effects.

Kind Regards from New Zealand...

UWB impluse radar are low cost radar that can be used for many applications. A good source of impluse radar applications can be found at www.getradar.com .
