Weight Variation in "Yamato " make weighing machine

11/24/2007 8:07 AM

we have installed a "Yamato" make machine which working fine with 400 gm but the weight variation is very high if the target weight is 850 gm for a different SKU. we are not able to diagnose the problem as we don't have micro switch setting also. we have contacted the maker but they have not yet responded.

we have also tried to dump two times to ensure minimum weight variation but it is not helping as the error is getting multiplied

If any one has got the same machine and have experience of the same. It is appreciated if suggestions are given to solve the problem. seems like some micro switch adjsutment or weigh sclae settings.

Thanks in advance

If it is battery powered, have you replaced the batteries with new ones ?

Did you remove the polystyrene shock absorbers masking tape stickers and retaining screws when unpacking?

The dip switch settings must be correct before results can be expected.

I remember my first laser printer. It did not print because I did not pull the ripcord all the way. I am not used to breaking new things.

Yes we didi remove the batteries and as well the packing. It works well with low weight target - 450 gm

It does not work with target weight of 850 gm.Any problem with bucket combination. we are trying to check the weight for each bucket anad see the results.

Return it for either replacement or calibration.

If that does not work for any reason whatsoever, buy from another company and NEVER EVER buy from Yamato again!!! Once is more than enough.

We are also now suitably warned about the possible lack of quality of their products through your Blog, thanks....
