11/27/2007 10:05 AM

I'm trying to find a 12 volt pump to put out 15-20 G.P.M @ 15-60 P.S.I. or is there another way to run water pump with these spec's other than hydraulically.

So the 12V pump motor would draw somewhere north of 40A. Some pump!

With a typical peak efficiency of about 70%, he would need at least 64 amps on the to do 20 gpm at 60 psi.

Thanks for the info. This pump is perfect except for the G.P.M. I need a pump with a larger volume.

Have a great day!

Put a few of them in parallel, make sure your inlet and outlet pipe doesn't restrict the flow.

Pumps in parallel increase the volume.

Pumps in series increase the head.

What kind of pump is it?

And try it:http://www.wholesalepumps.com/index.cfm?DID=83

Or if possible use 100VAC pump and contact relay switch with 12VDC source.

Goodluck.

Engine driven pumps either diesel or petrol would do it quite easily and cheaply!!!

Try Grainger (offices in all major cities) for numerous pumps that would meet this need. Great people to do business with and their prices are very reasonable.
