'Solar panel' or 'storage battery'? These terms appear to be mixed up. Please clarify.

All solar panels need to store power for the days in which the sun does not shine, to do this, some sort of battery like device is used. The electrical energy storage technology is advancing at rocket speed, so what is given today is outdated tomorrow. However, today, the storage devices range from lead-acid batteries, to large capacity capacitors, to hydrogen and solid oxide fuel cells. Take your pick. You will want to consider the initial costs, operating costs, reliability, and maintenance in your final selections.

yours,
