Steve S is right. Think of it (or sell it to your management) this way: How much is your time worth? The time it takes to reformat a disk, install the operating system, and reinstall all needed programs, can buy that program in short order.

First DO NOT edit the registry.

Go to "Control Panel" and select "Add Remove Programs." Win XP should list your program and allow removal.

Alway use the "Add Programs" if at all possible.

Not all trial versions of software leave tracks on your computer. When you register to get the trial version, you leave your tracks on the company's system so reformatting your PC doesn't work. I agree with the previous posts. Buy the software. Then you get all your updates for free!

From what I know, those programmers have figured out the possibility of erasing the Registry entries, and make a small note somewhere. THAT is not registered, so no success in reinstalling the software. Our collegues told you to buy the software. Sometimes the student version will be enough.

Go to Sart-->Select Run-->regedit comand on the dropdown window-->On the tool bar look for Edit-->Scroll down and select [Find]-->At the resulting window type the name of the software you installed. Many files assciated to the application you installed will be listed-->Go ahead and delet them-->There is also [Finf Next] on the edit tab--Use it to find more files associated witht he software you want to remove and delte all of them. This should clear all your registry from any trace of the software. I used to do this when I installed AutoCad Trial version and I managed to used it multiple times after the trial 30 had expired. Hopefully this will help you to use your software as many times you want.

Hey, if you're gonna cheat, just download a keygen from the internet. Or, you could just pay for a legal key and have factory support. I know, a novel concept.

Run>Regedit

DOS, will also remove the remains of the directories, files, that many programs still leave behind. Accessories>MS-DOS >CD\ >CD program files >DIR

It is amazing what gets left behind, by bad programming......

I do not agree with cheating and using something that should have been paid for! Buy the software.

Even helping someone to do that is for me almost the same as doing it yourself, it also shows a sinister character problem for all conerned.

I am surprised that anyone even posts to ask for help! Now it is known Nishant....

I was very pleased that most of the people who posted are honest on CR4.

A way out of the predicament is as someone suggested to download the student version, or to look around for a similar freeware or cheaper software that does what you want to do....I would be prepared to help you look for such software as would many others here I am sure....

Even reformatting your hard disk and re-installing is far more "legal" to my mind, than what you are trying to, even if still completely morally wrong.......I hope you screw the registry up and have to reformat each time....and lose your data too.....!

Making money with stolen software is wrong, wrong, wrong.

Soon, such cheating will also be just as big an offence India as it is in the rest of the free world....then you will pay........!

Dear Sir,

As a software developer, and with a program I sell for £199, I can tell you that it annoys me when someone wants to crack it and, worse, that someone helps him to crack it.

I spent a full man-year developing the software, writing the help files, etc - and I pay to try to protect it - even pay for people to download trial version. I did this at my own expense, my own risk (no other income during this year), in my own hope that I might eventually make some money. So far, I have made a little over £1000 - a poor return on MY investment. But it was my risk. If the software is useful to you - THEN PAY FOR IT!

Why don't you invest your time in developing something useful, instead of trying to steal...

As for the chap that tried to inform the questioner how to delete the reg entries, then the moderator of this site needs to delete his entry AND remove him form the memberships.

By the way, deleting reg entries wont work with my programme protection.

What is windows registry cleaner?

Doesn't windows give you that feature? Each time I bootup it asks me if I wanna run it. And it also ask if I wanna buy a full version (but that's microsoft) it is not that expensive but I do not remember. I still just keep using the 15 only cleaner and 3 thereafter.

I do not use word and excel though.

If you have to ask this question, it suggests a level of knowledge that could result in some of the suggested answers causing serious damage to your computer.

It is like carrying out brain surgery on yourself - not a good idea - even for an expert brain surgeon.

A little trick I learned years ago was to change the date of your PC - not a good idea nowadays - but if you are really desperate it could trick time-stamped expired software to think it was still active. But don't forget to reset to the current date when you have finished.

Just buy the software or find an alternate legal and moral means to achieve a solution. The software vendor supplied a trial version so that the software could be evaluated to determine if it fit your needs without expense to you. Don't try to cheat the developer by trying to use the product for free forever! Can you test-drive a car for three years?

Unfortunately, some people have advertised the fact that they are not honest - something most people try to hide.
