Long ago it is estimated that as many as 60 million buffalo roamed the prairies....Today we have few but nearly 95 million cattle exist....not much difference

This could be a great sermon for a Venus fly trap.

PETA usually stands for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals.

However, a recent next-door neighbor reworked that to mean

People
Eating
Tasty
Animals

Cultivating it has a lot more impact than eating it; if it weren't eaten, then there would be no point in cultivating it.

It’s unfortunate that people who take a stand on subjects such as this,... take it with tunnel vision on the actually impact.

Eating Meat? Humans have neve done that before. In our entire species history we have never been omnivores. uh huh.

Now the way we do it is an absolute atrocity and the damage we allow the mega farms to do to the environment is literally criminal, but to try and contend we physically are not what we are is rather disingenuous.

Humans are not omnivores??

Why do we have Canines like Carnivores then?

Why do certain Amino acids only exists in Meat and required to maintain healthy human body?

There do exist unnecessary or unethical slaughter of animals as to make more profits and people consuming more meat is negatively impacting their health, and environment but stating we never were omnivorous in the past is not just.
