Trying To Source 3/16" Copper Elbow

Yeah seems simple eh? I need an elbow like this.

But for 3/16" tubing.

I need a 90 as seen there and a 45, I only need one of each. I have searched and have found some. but like what!? sticker shock is putting it mildly!

Anyone know where I can get these?

Round here we just bend small tubing from 3/8" down....

Have you tried Graingers?

Without knowing your location, I have no idea what's available locally.

The internet claims to have them.

I have tool kits bought for one use. It isn't worth it. Find the parts online.

Maybe look for reducers in your area, or online? Not as clean, but.........................

do down to 1/4" copper 90 degree elbows, also the 45 degree fitting.
Adding a 1/32" shim strip before soldering could be a solution?

NSS try local hvac distributor that carries copper fittings for refrigeration tubing. The 90 would be long tangent. I do not know of a 45 in that size.

An Amazon search of "3/16" copper elbow" yielded one from Nibco for the RIP-OFF price of $12.75. If you need it badly enough then this is an option.
