It's in there, in the middle of the pack at USD $4.46 per gallon. Norway and Hong Kong presently top the list for the most expensive gasoline at USD $10.193 and $10.718 per US gallon.

That is an interesting article and it does make sense with the fuel prices there but, it isn't really news. It is from 2019.

There is a big range across the country. I paid $3.84 this morning in west-central Wisconsin.

Average price per gallon in US = $4.31 * 26% = $1.12

$4.31 - 1.12 = $3.19

Gas price jan 2020 = $2.49

2.49 * 50% = 1.25

If you look at the active oil rig count, that is a good measure of supply pipe line...In 2019 we were above 800+ active oil rigs, we are now currently at just above 500 coming off a low of under 200 in Aug 2020...so we have recovered from the low about 50%....probably won't fully recover for another 12 mos...

Here in the UK the cooking oil shelves are empty as the old diesel burners are stocking up on the much cheaper cooking oil, until that runs out.

I recall when I was going to college… I had car problems where I had a exam, so I thought I take the bus… I had the copy of the bus route, but the time for the next stop was like 2 hours away, but the route and stops went directly to the college…

raised on a farm from a time where cell phones weren’t invented yet there were times where I’d would need to walk home for one reason or another from fields I was working, so I thought I start walking, running if the stops was spread out… just in case the city bus was early

and damm when I did reach the college drive that dam bus past me….
I’m trying to think of the moral of this story… maybe, I save the student bus fare? Lol…
