That Audi is probably the most ridiculous vehicle I've seen yet. Lots of things you don't need, all just waiting to fail and cost lots of money to repair.

So it raises up and down, my friend's '56 Packard could do that!

My last 4 cars have been Audis, but the reliability is now beyond a joke and I will never buy one again. In the last 18 months I have had to replace 3 coil springs, clutch slave cylinder and clutch, dual mass flywheel, track rod ends, 4 brake disks and a box in the engine - this is on an 8 year old Audi Q3, S line TFSI Quatro. The repair costs and off-road time is horrendous. Even the owner of our local Audi dealers, who has been with Audi for decades, says he is disgusted with their cars and would never buy one - he drives a Toyota.

Why can't we go back to simple vehicles like the Ford Cortina which were a doddle to maintain and repair. If this is progress than I'll be glad when it is time to stop driving!
