Gasoline was/is the largest cause, not only that, along with that orchards used lead arsenic as a pesticide, that was banned because lead was found in protected species such as bald eagles where their egg shells were becoming thinner.

Some regulation we can all agree on, is good, some though is agenda based and punitive in nature that serves no purpose other than to disrupt progress that would improve the lives of people...let's not confuse the two...

Yes, the test of time is the only reliable way to determine which regulations are good and which are not. Whether one leans to the right or left, we should all remember that initially both the good and the bad regulations were typically met with criticisms opposing the new rules. No perspective gets it right or wrong all of the time.

Who knows? It is very possible that our DNA as time passes by are also evolving, changing and adapting to the ever changing environment...thereby also developing corresponding antibodies thus enhancing our immunities against lead poisoning...

Thats how evolution works, normally for a lack of a better work is fault or abnormal issue within the DNA, that’s cause by the environment such as ultraviolet radiation, that can have affects of some good/some bad,

the good can adapt to the changing environment,

as opposed to the bad which is a dead end and extinction.
