I want to make sure we are talking about the same material. PVA is poly vinyl alcohol? PVA is used in the manufacture of certain fabrics to make them stronger and for other reasons. PVA, as with all fibers, is usually coated with a sizing but the sizing will vary depending upon the company that made the fiber and the end user. And, there are times when more than one sizing is used on the fiber. Formulations vary widely so it is best that you speak with your fiber supplier or send the fibers to a laboratory for testing.

I applaud your effort to reduce the impact on your effluent plant. Many companies might not be as diligent as you.
