Robotic Help Needed

01/01/2008 4:10 PM

Hello, there has to be a way of contacting someone who knows how to program robots and robotic creatures. Will you, please, send me how to contact them? Have a safe and blessed New Year in 2008, Louie

Louie - you started a thread before (http://cr4.globalspec.com/thread/15735#newcomments), but didn't add a reply to my comment & question.

Why not?

That's a pretty broad topic. Typing "industrial robotics" in GOOGLE nets about half a million hits ... if you can narrow it down, I am sure there is a lot of assistance, or at least good references available. If some particular robotic system, I am also sure the maufacturer has loads of information. Building your own? Well, even that has some basis of acutation and control.

Tell us more.

Louie, there's a bunch of very qualified programmers on PLC.net and most, like on this forum, are willing to help if you let them know what you are trying to do.

Good luck

Our machines are a simple form of a robot. We program in sequence to match a certain task. So a knowledgeable programmer should do the trick. Or a least put you on track.

Hello Louie. Happy New Year.

What you ask is very general. I have experience in this in the embedded space building and programming robots. Send details on what you are looking for to wolfenhawke*gmail.com

Replace * with @.
