In terms of safety 110 v AC is better the lesser voltage , less current to flow onyour body

But in terms of econmy, 220 volts is good because you will need smaller wires in transmission

so the choice is still yours , which one do you prefer?

110VAC is used widely for control panel internal power supplies in the UK.

Normally 110 V ac is preferred from the safety point of view

As has been said 110 volts ac is preferred for outside work, but it is usually supplied by an isolation transformer with a centre tap to Earth.

So the maximum voltage to touch is 55 volts to earth.

Hi, Prashanth

This depend on the primary source, but if heat loss is insignficant 110V AC 1HP is more preparable.
