Distribution problems(line diagram)

02/19/2008 9:13 PM

Dear sir,

sorry now i attached our distribution single line diagram. its useful for you.

i got you all informetion now im following that. sorry to mention before. in the distribution board we are using RCCBO (residual current circuit breaker with overload) all burned its around 500 Nos and its happened three times.

We are using 11Kv/440 v distribution system.

We are mostly using our loads all Electronics system for example (AC Digital controllers, Plasma TV, Digital Light Dimming system and exact……). So due to this our Loads getting burn..

We have problem Y phase and B phase only..

Our Voltage analyzer meter showing Neutral to Earth has 220Volt. This voltage Only getting few second not always example some time taking two or three days.

We don't have any problem in R phase lodes.

Now we are checking the cablings and panels. We can't found any things still now? For time being we can not shutdown the transformer.

Do you have any information about problem?

Hello Guest,

I have placed a Post in your previous Topic: http://cr4.globalspec.com/thread/17877#newcomments

This re-directs Members to this Topic.

Thank you for the Distribution Diagram, which is not really helpful at all, because it is a very basic diagram that could be used almost anywhere.

Very Important:

Do you have a wiring diagram, showing control circuits, equipment items with Make/Model/Part Number etc?

You need to Register as a Member at CR4 Forum, to use the CR4 Message Service: http://cr4.globalspec.com/announcement/8/Why-You-Should-Join-CR4

If you Register, please scan these wiring diagrams, .JPG file, then contact me via CR4 Message system, and I shall advise you of my direct email address to send them as attachments.

You will need to advise me in that private CR4 message, of your Email address you are sending from, so your Email is recognised by my Email Security Software, and not automatically deleted.

Please reply here, in this Topic Thread, so as to avoid confusion.

Thank you.

Kind Regards....

What is the transformer primary and secondary connection type? Is the neutral point of transformer solidly and properly grounded?

Dear sir

You have posted your problem and it seems to me very serious one. Many experts have given suggestions.

Please gothrough the suggestions and check the system and give us feedback then and there ,it will be helpful for the experts to apply their mind and come out with some more suggestions such that your problem will get resolved.

I find response is very poor.

We are also very eagar to know about the exact problem and how exactly it gets resolved.

Please therefore respond.

A photo of the burned distribution board without the cover would help enormously! We can see instead of trying to understand the problem! Get as much detail as you can of the board, The wall behind is not important, just the board please for now!

Sounds like you have a dangerous problem!

Look, if you are using Electronic devices, you must have a separate earthing grig/earth electrode separated from the main earthing system of source power.Sometimes duee to unbalance load of source power the neutral current appears that in turn passes through electronic device earth circuit. I had a similar experience in past where due to no separate earthing system the instrument transmitter, controller power circuit burnet. But fortunately due to bypass circuit the electronic circuit of the instrument protected.
