Hello Guest,

Because of the extra strength required, and the high maintenance requirements of the Bailey Bridge, these are not normally built for 2-way traffic.

In installations where 2-way traffic has been required, it is often better to install two single-lane Bailey Bridges, with a small distance between them.

Bailey Bridges are generally used as a temporary measure.

Read about them here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bailey_bridge

If you need further help, reply here with

Kind Regards....

Hello unicomposite

If you click quickly on the weblink in my above post, it should open on that Wiki page regarding Bailey Bridges.

If your Internet Browser settings do not allow this to open from a hyperlink, you could alter the settings.

Otherwise, open a blank webpage in your browser, and copy the link to clipboard, <ctrl> + <c> then paste <ctrl> + <v> into the browser link slot, and click on enter, which should then open for you on that webpage.

Just use the keyboard keys between the < and >, don't type the < or >.

(Fiberglass cannot ever replace metal, particularly as an electrical conductor)

Kind Regards....

Hey Sparks!!

I happened to notice that he is in China. When I was there, I found out that many web sites are not accessible (Including our youth symphony web site). I would not put it past the Chinese government to block Wiki too. For as you know...

KNOWLEDGE IS POWER!!

Cheers

Bill

Hello Sciesis2

Thank you for the advice, and I have just checked and found that the entire Wikipedia website, along with thousands of others, is apparently blocked off for access from China, by the Government in China.

So, unicomposite, sorry to say that under the present regime in your Country, you are not allowed access to Wiki.

Perhaps you could try in Google: "Bailey Bridge" (Search terms within quote marks), and there are plenty of interesting weblinks, unless either "Bailey" or "Bridge" are also on your locally banned list.

Kind Regards....
