If the safety valve has been set in a correct manner the valve will operate for sure.

It is a new unit protected by this safety valve? Sent me a drawing of unit arrangement to check corect location of this valve.

If is not possible to remove the safety valve from the position you can use TreviTest system to calibrate the safety valve on the position.

Hope this help

Suggest you go to your local library and pick up all books on Boilers, read and do your own assignments.

All your Boiler questions are falling in a pattern that either you are totally new with boilers or come across a book already and fished out all these questions.

Prior answering all your questions but first I want you to email me your CV with educational & job description to assure that you are in this job.

Dear Mr pradeepguptha,

You have not told whether the valve is newly installed. If so the dummy disc to be removed from the valve and set the valve after keeping the SEATING in position. Then adjust for the pressure release to the required level. This work is to be done only by the qualified/authorised personnel ONLY.

If it is an old installation, somebody might have tampered with the valve, in an un-authrised manner, with out knowing the importance of it.
