Dear GlobalSpec Representative, Are you aware of anyone who is using a laser beam as a deer control device. I have been researching the internet etc. but find none. Is there a possibility someone could let me know or who to contact so that I could proceed with making a prototype. Thank you very much, Del

In SA we don't know much about the habits of deer.

My first thought would be to install a 8' fence and cover it with a curtain of canvas or cloth.

Our SA antelopes perceive it as a solid wall and don't challenge it. (some of them can clear 8')

A laser beam , outside PIR (wireless infra red detector) can trigger an alarm and start a procedure to scare the animal away. (prepare for a lot of false alarms).

I don't know what action will drive deer away.
