What does the Client's Engineering Standards say on the subject?

It might be easier to put the 'heavier' cables on the bottom. These will probably be the first to go in and also those least likely to incur changes and additions.

Hi,

As you have rightly pointed out the higher sized power cable wiil be in the bottom and requires least maintanance wheras the control cable on the top may become faulty which needs replacement periodically.

Do you plan to lay it flat or can you fit it onto a vertical cable tray if the trench is wide enough and lined with concrete?

Hi,

In a trench cable shall be laid horizontally. This normal practise. The verical tray shall be laid on the walls in a cable tray if the trench section is less. ie. On both the there shall be trays vertcally arranged with a walking spece between them.

The flat formant inside a trench will be for EHT Power Cables with support structures grouted on the floor. After necessary snaking considering the bending radii of the cable the it will be vertcaly laid with a support structure tio terminate in the respective equipement.

If you hav enay further doubt please revert.
