good day every one

What is the difference in rolling resistence for an atv tire compared to road tire at the same air pressure?

I'd guess the ATV would be substantially higher.

Hello Guest.

Good day to you, too.

It varies with the coefficient of friction, the type of tyre, the diameter and cross-sectional area of the respective tyres, and many other factors.

Kind Regards....

Factors such as side wall design, # of and type of ply and composition for starters.

For example if a tire designed to be mounted on a driven wheel the rolling resistance would be greater than of a tired designed to be on a trailing wheel or and all position tire.
