Self tapping screws

What is the machinery used for making these screws in lengths of 50mm and diameters of no more than 4mm ijn stainless steel and/or titanium?. A lathe will bend the material if their diameter is under 4mm.

Very few screw threads are cut, they are mainly rolled between dies to swage out the metal to form the threads...

Much faster and cheaper to make, but maybe not so strong etc..
