Is this a question about how to make re-treaded tyres?

My take is that he is looking for some way to recover value of rejected tyres (tires) when they make them. Rework, recycle, etc.

They probably will not appreciate a lecture to not make "weasted tyres" in the first place.

You silly Brits and your quaint spellings! =b

Generally speaking they are dipped in liquid nitrogen to freeze them and then they are crushed/ground into crumbs. The steel belts are then magnetically separated and recycled separately.

The crumbs are either used as filler for new rubber, molded into things like soaker hoses, or sold for use as playground surfacing or flower bed mulch depending on the size of the crumbs.

If one were serious about it, Where would one go shopping for the design, engineering, and procurement of a waste tyre material reclaiming facility? I would appreciate any comments.
