halfwave rectifier..

in half wave rectifier when it is made using diodes the positive part of the signal only got as a output..but when it is made with the opamp the negative part is got as the output..why is it so..is that also a halfwave rectifier as it output,s only half of the signal..

Your opamp is inverting the output of your rectifier. Easiest fix would be to turn your diode round if a positive output is what you want.

If you want only half wave rectification, you have answers enough, but did you really want full wave rectification?

Sounds like your op-amp is set up as an inverting amplifier (hence the negative voltage when you connect your half wave rectifier up to it).

Try looking at Wikipedia or google for basic op-amp circuit principles.

I think you needs knowledge about opamps more. Simply search "operational amplifiers" and learn more than you imagine.
