Er, Google the "International Standard Atmosphere" for the relationship between pressure, density and elevation for air. It can also be found in the back pages of Mayhew & Rogers, "Thermodynamic Properties of Process Fluids". Try Perry, "The Chemical Engineer's Handbook", any edition.
