Congratulations to China.

The opening ceremony was spectacular.

I liked the 3D human digital display board.

Did CR4 contributed? I saw some torches , a water fall wall and apparently no cellphone jammers.

Hello Hendrik

Your time zone was more appropriate than ours for watching in real-time.

I shall not bother to "watch the Olympics" this session.

I cannot be bothered with the hypocrisy and cant, which has and still is, along with the double and treble standards, used in the Country where that particular circus is being exhibited.

Kind Regards....

Hi Sparkstation

I am not all for the Chinese government but being from SA I know that a government must attempt to do the best for the country as a whole (and that they do) and that the policies won't suite everyone in such a diverse type of population.

Personally I am thankful to the Chinese government for allowing the export of Chinese cancer medicine to us. It prolonged the life of my daughter for 5 months with real quality of life. She actually suffered more as a result of excessive radiation.

The are are good, friendly and helpful people in China as well. They are my friends.

Technically the ceremony was a success and they deserve praise for that.

Hello Hendrik

You actually did Post.

Your first Post/s were dual Posts, normally caused by a micro-outage at your ISP, and the message is thus sent twice.

Perhaps we could blame those solar flares....

Kind Regards....
