Water for gas scam debunked? Think again

08/15/2008 1:18 AM

Here's a new one. A water for gas scam website that claims that only its water for gas products are the real working deal. It claims that only two water for gas products work and are economical; all the rest are too expensive or don't work. And naturally, being "neutral", they provide links to purchase the two products they claim work.

Wonder what the Mythbusters have to say about this............

Ah yes, the fake expert. I think I saw this with safe cigarettes in the 50s.

This appears to be an affiliate site.

If you click through and buy, they get paid. No interest in the product whatsoever.

They could just as easily be "reviewing" peanut butter. It makes no difference to them as long as you click through.

You can find them for anything from credit cards to satellite TV systems. It's one of the many "make money on the internet" strategies.

Hello DVader1000

What a bore, and I would have thought you'd have gotten over it by now.

The old Browns gas swindle again.

Kind Regards....
