Wanted: Programmable PLCs

08/22/2008 5:09 AM

I hate use programmable PLC ,cos our control is simple,But we have no choose....I look for a nice nice board with embedded system and big size hard, and easy to write programme, the best cool is support C++Builder language....I wanna disign software with data-base and runing on a small board and it have computer function.

Try Allen Bradley (usual disclaimer). If one of the range won't do the job, then the job is wrong.

Last couple of years I was using soft-PLC for my projects (brands ADAM, ICPDAS). I am supposing you could find out and visit their web sites.

ICPDAS products have been supplying along a lot of free software MS C++ and C++Builder libraries include. I'm not sure that C++Builder is the very suitable tool to program controllers, though it's up to you. I'm using one for first approach testing and as high-level monitoring of industrial network.

Here's one more option for you to apply industrial PC boards, just Win-PC either Lin-PC.

You really need to check out www.beckhoff.com for your application. Their products are much less expensive (and faster) than PLC solutions. I think you will like what you find.
