About Wind Energy

09/28/2006 11:36 PM

Hello Dear,
I have a question regarding wind energy. There is possible to powerdrive by motor or generator, if I have wind velocity of 20 m/sec. Ifthere is possible by motor or generator what are their technicalfeatures. And also if any web site regarding this isue please suggestme.

Here is the Yahoo search page, it helps if you actually punch it up on the keyboard!

http://www.google.com/search?q=wind+power+energy+sources

Have a great day.

20m/second is 72km per hours wind which is pretty high in power. You can run a national grid and can be as rich as OPEC man (Amir). Place them in an array and you will get Mega Watts of energy. Is this wind only for few months or entire year?

Dear Sir,

First of all thank you very much fo you reply. I know that this concept is too much difficult. But if we can make wind turbine which is fitted on any four wheeler. so, we can achieve that speed same as four wheeler speed. And this speed we get, when four wheeler driven.
I would like to know from you that this is possible or not? I am waiting your reply. Thank you very much.

Fitting to 4-wheeler that wind turbine is not a good idea. You can not get more energy than you put in. In fact you lose some. While it is OK to have a portable turbine to get power if you have wind at all places. You can also mount it on anchored boat.

Dear sir,

I defenetly agree with you. but Can we generate the power or not ?

If yes, Can we use this power to drive the car ?

Because of sir, I have dream to make a any whicle without any fuel required like charged by battery power. If my idea is true please suggest me.

Thanks.

Perpetual machines are not possible and you can not get energy more than you put in. You lose energy in conversion. You are telling that thing will do work without fuel and generate energy out of nothing. Well only GOD supposed to be capable of doing so and I have never met any GOD so far to introduce to you to get some power shared with you.

Take it easy. It is something was called a Carnot engine and it has never been manufactured.

In theory is possible to put some enery back to motor. But you must put some enrgy into motion, before you get suficiont wind potencial. in other words you need a battery to getr your viecal in motion. Adn when you stop wind is gone, end enrgy with it. But, with that system you can get much biger range of getting around. And you can also harvest heat genereted by bracking. But it still won't be enugh for perpeto mobile. It's still metter to get moveing.

P.S. sory for my english

A wind turbine driven four wheeler?....nice concept....lol.....you have a grand illusion.

Your wind turbine will need to be on a pivotol purch as too be capable of actually harnessing the wind. Olny problem is you will never be able to point into the wind on a direct frontal approach. You would be required to tack as a water vessle needs to do. Point up into the wind on a maximum of 60* angle for your electricl motor to be able to overcome the head wind. I really do not see any concievable means of using the wind to power your four wheeler. Now you can use the wind as a main power source and power a nation with the proper equipment. You can actually increase the output of your turbine power by the use of transformers to increase your voltages and put your people into a whole new element of electrical achievements.

But you cannot use this wind energy as a means of powering a four wheeler in the economical sences. Good luck.
