What is the difference between epoxy paint and rubber paint, and which one reccommended for high pressure natural gas pipes?

Most epoxy paints I've used dry to a very hard but with very limited or non flexible capabilities.

I've never used a rubber paint. But I would assume it would be very flexible. And would work much better on a pipe that would expand and contract or shift around underground.

But I'm sure there are standards for natural gas pipes that you could look up for the information you need.
