From there, enter the Search Terms you require.
Use quote marks " " to search for a phrase, which you type between the quote marks in your chosen "Internet Search Engine" Search window.
So, I chose Google Search Engine, and Searched for "Steel structure report", which gave me 117 results in my Internet Browser.
So, Google Results 1 - 10 of about 117 for "Steel structure report". (0.17 seconds)
The Results page gives a short summary of each Result located by the Internet Search Engine.
From that list of Results, I click on the hyperlinks, which are a direct link to the webpage concerned, as I choose.
There now, that was easy, wasn't it, without any frustration like this poor fellow

We will be more helpful to you next time if you simply ask more specifically. You probably have an assignment where you have to list down advantages and uses of steel structures. If that is the case then here are some hints
1- Steel is stronger than most conventional materials. Pound for pound, it is several times stronger, on in technical language, it has a very high strength/weight ratio. For this reasons steel structures can be very economic
2- Steel structures are easier to erect. This makes construction time short and adds to economy, since the owner can lease the structure in very short time
3- Almost all long span structures are steel structures. This is because steel is strong and rigid. By rigid it is technically meant that it has a very high modulus of elasticity. Modulus of elasticity of concrete for example is only an eight of that of steel.
4- Steel is almost 100% recycleable. This makes street structures environmentally very friendly.
5- Steel structures are better at resisting seismic events. This is because steel can undergo large deformations compared to other materials. In technical terms, steel is a highly ductile material.
And here are problems with steel structures
1- they need fire protection most of the time(not always). High rise residential or offices will certainly need a lot of that. Where this is necessary, you have additional costs.
2- Corrosion can be a problem. So steel structures need surface protection.
To solve these problems, fire engineering has advanced and surface protection methods have improved so much that economic solutions can be reached at.
Any architectural book that has steel structures discusesed will surely give you a good amount of information. For example, visit the AISC site and get some architectural steel information, which probably is free to download
Great answer. I hope that you get an "A" on their homework.
You gave great advice.

Did I make a mistake responding in such a detail? I am not sure I even answered the question. I aimed at laying down general points so that Mona can be aware of issues and go after them.
I will appreciate if you inform me about the policy here. I am a stark believer in summarizing main points.
Not a mistake- You shared great information which you were able.
however, many lazy students who can't even articulate a proper question come here for free Homework handouts, relying on the generosity of those of us who have already done the work... If we give them the answers, what do they learn besides how to beg for free assistance?
Perhaps you might find the approach "teach them how to fish" rather than "give them a fish" will help you decide how and when to respond.
Like I said, you laid out a very cogent answer.
