Level transmitter calibration range

10/19/2008 9:15 AM

Hi to all,

I'm new here. is it possible to calculate calibrated range of LT w/o knowing max level of the tank? given is only the height of Hi & Lo distance. for instance I'm using a diaphragm seals in a closed tank. can anybody give a sample calculation? what is the capillary seal fluid specific gravity? is it standard on all capillary Tx?

thanks in advance. sam921

ye it is possible to calibrate the LT without knowing max level of the tank.the distance between the hi and lo diatance should be the sapn of the LT.
