home plan

any body help me for calculating the rough estimate cost of 1200 square feet home plan

with 3 bed room,1 dining ,1 attach toilet and bath room

Plus minus Zim $ 1,000,000,000,000 if you stay in Zimbabwe and build it before tonight. If not you can calculate the cost at 231,000,000 % inflation rate.

For any other country the location would help.

Need a lot more information, but as a rule of thumb, you start with about $60 a sq.ft. and go up from there... if you want marble floors and tall glass walls, or are you looking for a simple log cabin you carve out with your swiss army knife?

Where you build is again a factor... down in the southern US, the house maybe built on a slab, so $60 to $75 a sq. ft. is about right. Up North, you'll have to have a basement, so you maybe looking at $80 - $90 a sq.ft.

How about a major city in the US, like New York, ... my estimate for that location is "forgetaboutit", if you have to ask you can't afford it.
