calculations for current carrying capacity of 3.5core x 240sq.mm armoured cable 1100v with copper and aluminium conductor.

TO WORK OUT RATED AMP FOR CABLE YOU NEED TO MENTION:-

1. XLPE / XLPE(e) /PVC

2. CABLE LAID IN :- AIR OR UNDER GROUND MANNER

3. NO OF CABLES LAID AND DISTANCE BETWEEN EACH

4. AMBIENT TEMP. / ALTITUDE

5. LENGTH OF CABLE

accordingly major derating factors needs to be applied
