Success in Formatting of Posts

03/01/2009 2:53 PM

This is not a Question.

This is just a note about how to get line break spacing to take.

What you do is put a [ then a p then a ] where you want to create a line space. Apologies to all that tried to get that through to my me.

I'm putting this here, figuring more people will see it here.

Figure if I have a problem, somebody else is likely to have the same problem.

When I went from an HPworkstation to a Mac my posts to CR4 would appear as one long paragraph, instead of appearing with line breaks.

It made it difficult for readers.

I read a little about HTML, and tried <s, and then brackets with a p in between, and have therefore achieved posts, that are easier to read.

Hi Trans

I noticed the other day that you got the line brakes under control. Very good because it makes so much easier reading. It still seems very complicated compared to just hitting the enter button. That is how I do it.

Like my grammar, which can be a problem at times, yours seems out of context some times too.

All the best , Ky.

Have the same problem with Google Chrome.

But, obviously, your tip has saved the day.

Also you can use "b" and "i" in the same way for bold and italics

Interesting that you would post on this old thread, and then get an OT for it.

I think it depends on which browser you use.

I had the same problem, but don't remember what I did to fix it.

Going to the land of no cell phone/internet tomorrow, but many wind turbines. I'll look for dead birds under the one that supplies our power, and a few more.

Cheers
