First of all i want to state that i am just an engineering student. I came across 2nd Law of thermodynamics and the term of entropy is very hard to catch and understand. So i make some own reading. This is what i get from wikipedia-entropy
In a thermodynamic system,
a "universe" consisting of "surroundings" and "systems" and made up of
quantities of matter, its pressure differences, density differences,
and temperature differences all tend to equalize over time - simply
because equilibrium state has higher probability (more possible combinations of microstates) than any other.
2nd law of Thermo also known as law of Degradation of energy, whereby the quanity of the energy is conserved while the quality may not. This statement is from my lecture note.
Big bang releases 4 type of fundamental energy- gravitation, electromagnetic and 2 types of nuclear energy which i am not very sure what they do.
And based on these 3 statements above, I wonder if before the big bang our universe is in equilibrium.... but after the big bang the energy released increase the entropy of our universe dramatically and break the equlibrium, And given enough time....very long time.... will our universe return to its equilibrium state where the everything is dead since the entropy of the universe is decreasing all the time???
I know it may sound very funny... but please correct me.. i am just a student who are willing to learn and think
