Power Transistor Schematic

03/11/2009 9:18 AM

I have a GE VCR Model VG 4054. There is a power transistor that gets very hot. Like to find a schematic for it, that dosen't cost more then the VCR. Have no idea where to look. Markings on the transistor has a K above C4419. Can't find any parameters for it. Any info from someone would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,Greenturtle

Thank you so much. It will give me a lot to work with. Had the transistor out of ckt, didn't know what to replace it with. It seems to check O.K on a continuity check. I'm not that sharp to figure out if the transistor is bad, causing a large current drain or some component in the circuit. It's hard to check things while in circuit, almost not possible for any true readings. I sure appreciate you finding that for me. A schematic would help a lot. Can't find one of them either. But now I can at least sub the transistor. Thanks again.
