Looking for Battery impedance sensor

11/10/2006 1:07 AM

Hi all,

I`m looking for battery impedance sensor to measure impedance of Valve Regulated Lead Acid battery or Flooded Lead Acid. This sensor will be used as an input for my data logger.

The specification is : range measurement from 0-300 miliohm, sensor output 0-5 V,can be used for application voltage 2-240 VDC.

Please give me some reference....

Regards,

The normal way to measure battery impedance is to superimpose a very small ac low frequency signal on to the battery terminals and measure its attenuation, knowing its source impedance, open circuit level and amplifying the output to give the impedance.
