computer language

03/14/2009 11:02 PM

Hello , I expect the new computer language should not deal with any fancy process, I would see a system that runs itself looking to the key board operator for assistance in its basis for operation. the programs are run with no time use for the operator not to be concerned about the running operation of the operating sytem . the machine will secure itself and run its platform to make complete determination to please the keyboard user through some psycology within its programming. the computer will act like a toaster and just perform a trouble free existance within the computer users life. thank you Kelly stephen // clearwaterlake@yahoo.com

Hello kstephen, and welcome to CR4.

Are you asking a question or just making a statement (sounds like it)? You seem to be describing your ideal computer operating system except you're calling it a computer language (these are two different things).

Good luck.

regards,

Vulcan

It'll also need to be able to understand vague, poorly worded, ungrammatical, misspelled instructions.

Ah, I can just envision it:

'Win-HAL, calculate 5-3*2!' (casual user voice)

'blip. 5-3*2=4' (synthesised voice)

'no, you idiot. recompute' (growing frustration)

'blip. [interpreter error]. you violated MS windows 487(TM) parental sensorship settings for foul language. do you want a report sent to microsoft? we respect your privacy'

'but I am the parent you idiot!' (angry voice)

'blip. [...]'

'oh, god, this machine is killing me!!' (resigned voice)

'Blip Blip. Kill user' (synthesised voice)

runs away in terror, looking for the fuse-box. no, machine is not armed. but goes on to notify MS anyway, just before the main breaker is tripped.

the moral: any future 'smart' PCs should be equipped with very low MHz CPUs (to get to the fuse-box in time) and no net access, just to be safe.

Language or operating system, I think the eventual goal for computers would be something like you describe, but it is a far distant future.

Hi kstephen,

You seem to be describing the BASIC language, which is still the best. You don't have to know how the computer works to use it. enjoy!

welcome to the community, kstephen!

don't be intimidated by the replies / responses you get in these fora. people here are very helpful, fun, and candid, and generally don't like it when the original poster (OP) poorly words his query and makes his question difficult to understand - because nobody can answer you properly, as well.

so respond to the posts, express your satisfaction or dissatisfaction with the answers you're getting, and most importantly, rate the good answers (GA)!

Hello, yes this language will be the operators questions and statements for the computer to comprehend and offer suggestions to appease the individual at the keyboard.

I know that the language will be easy to understand with no confusion for the operator of his/her computer and the computer will accommodate the user. I have a working unit theory for this computer and the assistance the computer will have will be far reaching in its operation. Thank you for reading, I look forward to communication to develop this new computer program system that will be free of coded words or any hindrance that will allow computer and human performance to work successfully together.. kstephen clearwaterlake@yahoo.com

Hello ,kstephen here, I am responding to your communication for this computer operations programming project. I expect the system for this computer language will be made up of supreme intelligence within the computer unit that will run this artificial intelligent encylopedia processor that will be at the call of trying to request information from the user( at the keyboard in front of the ones computer) to process the inspired requests from the keyboard individual that is running this computer. correct questions will be asked by the computer and will funnel the information from the user to a end result to complete the answer. the computer will act like a human entity with all its operation logical and quick to complete tasks. The computer will be internet connected to others and all systems will have complete control over the communication within the earth community. privacy and security will be all within the ethical operation of this sytem, with learning request at any or all times for all and any users of this computer. (all within the framework of this communication computer system.) thank you kstephen clearwaterlake@yahoo.com
