Video Editing

I use Windows movie maker, its free to download from Microsoft and its a good basic package.

Obviously if you want to edit large videos, say a film or something, you need masses of memory and processing power, but for the odd 5Meg to 20 meg video its fine!!

I could find lots of hints and tips and extras to download...on that link you gave but not the actual
'Movie Maker' download.

Why is it beyond the wit of microsoft to have a simple 'download moviemaker' button that works??? Everyother company in the unverse manages to do it.

Ha! Found it from a 3rd party site (CNET Download.com I hope they havn't filled my PC with crap......V quick download... dunno why Microsoft couldn't make it that easy???)

You can also use another app like Inshot for editing photos and videos. In Inshot you can create a video with music, filters and combine two videos together. You can manage film, split it, erase undesirable areas, change the volume of each clasp, copy a few, pivot or flip others, make freeze outlines, accelerate a clasp, play it in the opposite, or move chosen cuts around. For a little versatile application, it has all that you'd anticipate. You can download Inshot on your pc and android also.

Drat...good try, I got past the 'circle jerk' page and downlaoded...but it came up with an error and wouldn't install..
The machine is full of ghosts today, and doesn't like me.

The combination of this prog and Electroman's recomendation would have done the job too....

Del, I used Extra Video Effect Editor http://www.dvdcopyrip.com/extra-video-effect-editor.html to rotate video successfully and easily. I had forgotten that the digital camera in video mode doesn't rotate with normal camera software. It has those other features for cropping, add music, cut bits out etc. Worth a look.

It was free at the time at http://www.giveawayoftheday.com/ but I think the above has download available.

Windows Movie Maker or iMovie, it's free, but ...

I use Video Editor, a cheap tool. you can edit your MOV video easily, crop, trim, split, join, etc.
