  1. Turn off Caps Lock
  2. If polishing with abrasives is unattractive, consider chemical rust removal options.

do you have information what kind of abrasives or tool is recommend for reduce the time in manual operation, the chemical rust removal maybe is difficult because in the area have many people working and the equipment is near to the area of cleaning.

the size of the plates is maximum 40 ft lenght, maybe the belt sander is good option. do you have information about this equipment?

What is your need?

Do you need to remove rust from the area to be weld prep'd or entire plate?

ONLY NEED REMOVE RUST FROM THE AREA TO BE WELD PLATE WITH PLATE AND TO WELD STIFFENERS ALONG THE PLATE.
