what is the acceptable limit of leakage current for high potential test of electrical equipment??

It depends on what kind of device. Medical devices are more stringent then others. Even for a medical device it depends on the kind and what leakage test you are performing. Per EN 60601-1 the limit for No Fault in a type B medical device is 0.5 mA with a Single Fault it is 1.0 mA for Earth Leakage current. For Enclosure Leakage current it becomes 0.1 No Fault and 0.5 Single Fault.

For example, i want to perform high potential test for any kind of high voltage circuit breaker. Or its better for me to refer the instruction manual for the acceptable limit of leakage current if there is...
