Can anyone tell me how to dissolve the bluish crystalline material that I'm getting in my house water supply lines? The local municipality upgraded it's water system a few years ago but I'm still getting white-to-bluish chunks that continue to plug up my plumbing. Kind of a cholesterol problem in my pipes. I was told it was because they had to change the Ph of the water which then caused mineral deposits to break loose from the interior of the main water lines. At any rate, they have not been helpful in providing a cure for my plumbing clog. I was hoping there might be something I could pour into the copper supply lines that would dissolve the crystalline chunks so I don't have to keep taking the fittings apart to drain the fragments out. Any help would be very much appreciated. I recently put a basement shower in and now face the possibility I may have to tear it apart to get the flow problem resolved.
