Coefficient of Performance [CoP] is a more correct term. It is the amount of cooling divided by the power required to produce it.

If the CoP is less than 2.5 or more than 4, then there's something wrong.

power required to produce it.As PWSlack says it. This would involve a gas Flow Meter and a combustion efficiency analyzer to nesure perfect tuned burning.
