Some friends of mine

07/08/2009 5:45 AM

Hi guys,

I just want to introduce everyone here to a few close friends of mine. They'd really love to get to know everyone here better. You can meet them at the following site:

With friends like that, who needs enemies?

I love Freddie Krueger...I callected all Nightmare saga's videotapes when I was child, I think me and my brother were the only children loving Horror movies.

Nope. They're all from Earth, whereas I came from Tatooine originally.

Cool. By the way, are any of your friends engineers?

Imhotep (the mummy) was a great civil engineer who designed and constructed many pyramids; unfortunately, he also buried a pharoah in a pyramid he was constructing before the pharoah could undergo mummification. More specifically, the pharoah was buried even before he passed away.

Freddy Krueger was a mechanical engineer once (hence the razor gloves) until he was convicted of child molestation. Following his conviction, the only job he could get was as an attendant in the local high school (go figure). Sad to say, he continued his career (no, not as an engineer, the other one), until a group of enraged parents doused him in gasoline and basically made Freddy barbecue out of him.

Hannibal Lecter was a clinical psychiatrist who picked his patients' brains for a living; the problem was that he was picking them out of his teeth.

Vladimir Tepes (aka Dracula) was a prince of Wallachia who pioneered new mechanical techniques of executing people, so I guess he could qualify as an engineer: the first (and so far only) execution engineer in history.

Jason Voorhees was quite a severly retarded kid who couldn't even graduate from kindergarten, so he worked as a politician until he drowned. Considering what he's best known for now, I supposed that means he never retired from politics even after his death and subsequent resurrection.

Charles "Chucky" Lee Ray was a vehicle mechanic, and a damned good one too. So good in fact that he regularly took cars out from test drives to the nearest fence right before their owners. And their owners were usually right in front of the cars when he did that, and they almost always wound up under the tires as a result. And then of course, he was also a part-time bank robber.

Finally, Samara Morgan wanted me to mentor her to be an engineer. There were just two slight problems: the first was that labor laws meant that she couldn't get a job as one on the grounds that she was only 10 years old and could not get a license to practise as one. The other one was that she has a pathological fear of water. That part always got to me; I mean, why get me, a water engineer, to train her when she's hydrophobic? Maybe she wanted me to teach her how to get rid of water quickly I suppose. One final bit of weirdness about her: she's a Caucasian, but she has a Japanese identical twin sister, Yamamura Sadako, who's every bit as weird as Samara herself is. For one thing, they both have the same creepy and unnerving habit of crawling out of someone's TV screen. And no, no matter how many times I appealed to her, Samara simply refuses to introduce me to Rachel Keller. Ah well, she always was a strange one, that girl.

For myself, well, on a desert planet like Tatooine with its three suns, water engineers are in great demand and can command hefty salaries, which was why I chose it.

Hope you know a little bit more about my friends now.

Personally I find this thread extremely disturbing.

No! It actually makes my family seem normal.
