What is the material that the NPK is usually in contact with? Is this the material that needs to be coated?

The goals of coating are : - protect the fertilizer from hygroscopicity from the air. - as a anticacking agent So, it is not related with the material that the NPK is usually in contact with. The coating is used for the NPK fertilizer granul.
