Aint gonna happen! Not without making it a server and setting up 2 bottom line minimum stand alones to access it. You'll confuse it with 2 keyboards and mice simultaneously. Two displays is no problem if the graphics card is capable.

From what I've read, you can do this provided at least one of your keyboards is USB (such as one P/S2 style and one USB, or two USB). If you try typing on both at the same time, I'm not sure what will happen :)

Google "two keyboards one computer" and you'll see some of the information I read to come to this conclusion.

It's not uncommon to have multiple "pointing devices" on the same computer, so that should be less of a problem. You did mention that at least some of your gear is wireless, which might cause some problems if they are not able to set themselves for different "channels" or frequencies. Good luck.

Tom

Thank you! I was thinking to use one wireless set and one USB or P/S2 set.

Yes I'm googling...

You can always get a computer on a board to insert in a slot.

Long ago I had a XT model board (DLINK) that fitted in a XT slot (2 screens 2 keyboards etc with one hard drive)

search for Advantech newer versions is still available.

Thank you!

I'll look into it...

Would having more than one HD make a difference?

No, either CPU can access any HD or whatever on the bus.

If he's looking to operate 2 programs at once by separate people, it ain't gonna work. If he wants to operate one program and have several ways to input, yeah thats doable. But I'm under the impression he wants to be able to do separate functions on the same computer. Get back to us OP and let us know which is which.

I suppose we could do separate functions on one computer because the separate functions are accounting and the other is only viewing occasionally. If two screens were independent and using tabs we could make it work.

You could have 2 pcs, both going into one monitor, by making a switch box which changes all the pins over.

The op wants two monitors each independently linked to a keyboard and mouse on one computer.

Then I suppose as the above posts suggest, use a PS/2 Keyboard and mouse, and a USB set.
