which circuit breaker is used for low voltage ,medium voltage, high voltage application and why..?

A low voltage circuit breaker is used for low voltage applications.

A medium voltage circuit breaker is used for medium voltage applications.

A high voltage circuit breaker is used for high voltage applications.

Why? Because I say so, that's why.

Energy Authority...might say so too...

Manufacturer will undoubtably say so...

Standards are usually pretty insistant on using the right equipment in the right places..

Low Voltage - Air insulated Circuit breaker.

Medium Voltage : Vacuum, SF6 Circuit breaker,

High Voltage : Air Blast/Vacuum,SF6 CB
