Calculating MS Plate Weight

35 thickness x 500 width x 650 length -- weight?

Use the data in Kempe's Engineers' Yearbook, any edition. Either that, or pick the thing up using a plate clamp and a crane-weigh device.

11,375,000 cubic units X weight of steel per cubic unit = weight.

By the way, steel varies from about 0.291 to 0.296 lbs/cubic inch, or thereabouts.

Given your numbers, I would guess that your measurements are in millimeters -- right?

That would be about 205 lbs.
