Screen Text of Some Threads Wider

12/07/2009 3:32 PM

Most CR4 Threads appear within normal parameters on my Monitor, and then others now and then go way beyond, so that to read them I have to left right adjust to read the posts. For me currently this is the case with the Thread about Climate Change Emails. I wonder if others may have the same problem, and what causes it?

I have noticed this also, especially on that thread. I haven't a clue as to what causes it. I once had the idea that it had something to do with the monitor resolution, but even on my new wide-screen laptop, I see the same effect...What browser are you using? I use Firefox...

You need a wide screen

Check the zoom settings

I hesitate to change settings for the rare thread where is this anomaly.

Since C_Warner711 reports it happens in Firefox, and I am using Safari, this would imply to me that it is produced by some glitch of the CR4 site program.

I noticed it on that thread as well and thought it was my fat fingers. Maybe it was Al Gore getting a little payback for all the dissing. After all, since he invented the internet, he is certainly smart enough to tweak a CR4 thread.

Take off your mittens, that should help.

It's not a CR4 glitch, it occurs when a thread poster uses the space bar to separate paragraphs or create a space between them causing the window to stretch.
